Vero Luggya (Veronica) was born on the 27th June 1994 in Kampala, Uganda to Mr & Mrs Luggya. She had her primary and secondary education in Kampala and gained admission into the prestigious Makerere University, Kampala to study Tourism and Hospitality.Career
Vinka started her entertainment career as a dancer for singers like Cindy, Jackie Chandiru and Maurice Kirya before working as an intern at Uganda’s premier entertainment company, Swangz Avenue, while still in the higher institution.She quickly rose through the ranks at Swangz, working as an artist manager for the label's big artists like Winnie Nwagi and Irene Ntale.
In 2016, her record label asked her to convert into a singer, a move Vinka obliged to. On February 2017, she signed a record deal with Swangz Avenue under the stage name, 'Vinka'.
