Linet Masiro Munyali was born on the 4th of August, 1987 as the sixth child in a family of 7 children. She grew up in Maringo Estate in Nairobi with her family. Her father, Samuel Kirui Munyali, is a Ugandan while her mother, Esther Njeri is a Kenyan and they were both members of the clergy.
She had her early primary education at Dr.Livingstone Primary School, Nairobi, Kenya where she topped the class in the KCPE. For her high school, she proceeded to the State House Girls after getting a scholarship.
In an interview with Pulse, she revealed that she wasn't able to further her education because of financial reasons.

Entertainment Career

Size 8 begun her music career after she was discovered by Clemo, a Kenyan producer and co-founder of Calif Records. She was signed to the Record label after being auditioned locally. Her first song with the label was 'Shamba Boy', after which she released 'Silali' and 'Vidonge'.
In April 2013, Munyali was confirmed to have crossed over to the gospel music industry, having been born again. She subsequently released her first gospel music, 'Mateke' which became a hit. She has also released a number of songs including 'Yuko na Wewe', 'Moto, 'Afadhali Yesu', and 'Jemedari'.
