Saleh Kwagyang Mamman was born on the 2nd of January, 1958 in Taraba State, Nigeria. After completing his elementary and secondary education, he proceeded to the Kaduna Polytechnic, from where he graduated with a higher national diploma in electrical electronics in 1988.
He also obtained a master of business administration (MBA) in business administration from Bayero University Kano in 2015.

Career

Mamman Saleh started work as a teacher in Technical School Mubi, Adamawa State in 1981 and transferred his service to the newly created Taraba state in 1992. He rose to the rank of Assistant Director in the ministry of works in the state before his retirement in 2002. He has since become a full-time businessman and politician.
He was appointed as Minister for Power by President Muhammadu Buhari on 21st August 2019.
