Born on the 8th of May, 1968, Poju Oyemade is no doubt, one of the most respected pastors in Nigeria. He is well-rooted in the word of God and well-loved amongst his contemporaries, no wonder he has been able to grow to a great height without scandals.

The award-winning cleric attended International School Ibadan (ISI). Upon completing his SSCE, he secured admission to study at the prestigious University of Lagos (UniLag). We learnt that he was called to the ministry while still studying at UniLag and the rest became history.
Christian Ministry
Pastor Poju Oyemade encountered Christ at a very early age while being mentored by the likes of Bishop David Oyedepo and Chris Tunde Joda.
He, however, received God's calling to venture into pastoral work while at the university.
On March 30, 1994, Pastor Poju founded the Covenant Christian Centre and was consecrated by Bishop David Oyedepo at Yaba, Lagos.
In 2020, he renamed the church from Covenant Christian Centre to The Covenant Nation. While announcing the change, the pastor explained to the congregation that the movement has grown from a 'centre' to a 'nation' of priests.
According to him; 'The name; Covenant Christian Center is no more portraying what God has for us. We are no more centre but a nation of priests where kings are produced'.
In a bid to reach more parts of the world with the gospel, Pastor Poju Oyemade also hosts a television programme titled 'Insights for Living' which airs on Silverbird, Channels television and Revelation Channel (UK).
He also hosts several seminars aimed at teaching believers the Word of God and how they can possibly apply it to their daily activities, including:

Personal Life
Pastor Poju Oyemade got married to his beautiful wife, Toyin Oyemade (née Fajusigbe) on February 7th, 2015, in a colourful wedding that attracted the whole social radar in Lagos.
About Toyin Oyemade
Toyin is an award-winning Media Entrepreneur who has been involved in the production of leading shows like Moments With Mo, NdaniTV and a host of documentaries. She worked at Ndani TV for less than a year before moving on to concentrate on her personal projects. She also worked for Guaranty Trust Bank for a few years before leaving to pursue her passion for filmmaking.
Her documentary film ‘Unbroken: The John Sumonu Story’ which she directed and produced, was nominated for best documentary at the 2014 Abuja International Film Festival.
She attended Federal Government Girls College, Oyo State, after which she proceeded to the University of Lagos, where she obtained a degree in Mass Communication in 2006. She is a New York Film Academy graduate and an ambassador of the National Student Summit.
