The most popular Nigerian reality show has finally been unveiled and with the look of things, this year's edition will probably be more interesting than the previous years.
The 2019 edition of the show is being hosted in Lagos, Nigeria and was unveiled with performances from DJ Neptune, Zlatan, Burna Boy and Teni.

1. Avala

Avala is a single mum and budding singer who studied music and business at York College in Queens, New York.
She is 30 years old and hails from Ogun State.

2. Khafi

Khafi is the only police officer in the house and promises Nigerians a lot of fun. She is 20 years old and hails from Ekiti State.
When asked for what she'll use the price money for, she replied:

"...I will hire a film crew and host a travel show going to every state in Nigeria showcasing the tourist beauty spots. I would also invest in charitable causes."

I'm certain her staying in the house will be full of entertaining activities.

3. Omashola

Omashola is a 38-year old model and entrepreneur originally from Delta State but currently residing in Lagos. He enjoys playing basketball, cooking and “being in the water, even though I can’t swim”.
According to him, he once got down on his knees to propose to his girlfriend but to his greatest shock, she turned down the proposal.

His putting his life’s motto “If you want it, go get it – don’t just sit down” into action this year and assures us of a lot of fun in the house.

4. Ella

Ella is a 30-years-old single TV presenter, model, voice-over artist and actress from Anambra. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, reading, writing, travelling and poetry. The industry preaches that one should fake it until they make it. Not Ella, she says it’s better to “faith it, until you make It.”

5. Frodd

Chemeka Frodd Okoye is a 38-years old investment adviser and a sales executive from Anambra State. He believes family is everything andlists paying for his mother’s surgery bill as one of the proudest moments of his life.

6. Ike

Ike is a 26-year old model and entertainer originally from Imo State but currently residing in Houston, Texas and Lagos, Nigeria.
He’s loud, colourful and loves to entertain because “you only live once”. According to him, he started living with his girlfriend after losing his business in 2013 and luckily for him, being in the house means a great deal to him.

7. Isilomo

Isilomo Braimoh is a 27 years old HR manager who has an MA in Human Resource Management with professional certification. Her hobbies include sports and other outdoor activities, food, music and traveling.
She originally hails from Edo State but is currently residing in Lagos State. Isilomo is single and ready to mingle.

8. Jackye

Jackye is a 23-years old software engineer from Anambra State. She once led her software engineering team to winning a contract to build a Fintech app for one of the biggest companies in Africa.
According to her, she has only had one boyfriend her entire life. She relaxes by watching football, playing games and eating spaghetti, her favourite meal.

9. KimOprah

KimOprah is a 23 years old television presenter and entrepreneur who believes that nothing is impossible to achieve. She is not a new face in the entertainment industry as she had previously represented Nigeria at the Miss Intercontinental World Beauty Pageant.
Her hobbies include reading and her favorite book is favorite book is Arese Ugwu's ‘Smart Money Woman’.
Kim-Oprah has become the first winner in the 2019 BB Naija edition as she emerged winner of ‘Veto Power Game of Chance’.

10. Sir Dee

Atteh Daniel Tioluwa popularly known as is a Kaduna State born banker and graphics designer who enjoys football, board games and movies.

Sir Dee is currently in a relationship and believes in being “the best version of myself at all times”.

11. Tuoyo

Tuoyo is a 23-years old Delta born psychotherapist, fitness coach and “part time stripper”. His hobbies include reading books, watching movies, listening to his favourite musicians Davido and J Cole and cuddling.
ALthpugh his life has been interesting, he recalls that his not being able to be shortlisted for an important Navy and Airforce entrance examination left him staring at an uncertain future. Being a part of the 2019 BB Naija however assures him of a promising future.

12. Nelson

Nelson Allison is a 26-years old model and winner of Mr. Universe Nigeria 2018. He enjoys sketch drawing, working out, watching movies and cooking. Nelson believes that it’s not over until the fat lady sings.
He is from Rivers State and intends starting a business if he wins the 2019 Big Brother Naija.

13. Thelma

Thelma Ibemere is a 26-years old Hair and Beauty practitioner who believes in the quote, "Only hang out with those who bring out the best in you, not the stress in you”.
She is currently in a relationship and some of her hobbies include dancing, traveling and reading. Her favourite book of all time is James C Maxwell's ‘Talent Is Not Enough’ .

14. Seyi

Oluwaseyi “Seyi” Awolowo is the grandson to Nigerian socialist, nationalist and statesman, Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Oyeniyi Awolowo.
Seyi is bubbly entrepreneur and once tried to commit suicide but has since risen above that dark period of his teenage years.

15. Esther

Esther Olaoluwa Agunbiade is a 22-years-old Lagos based lawyer who was called to the bars just a year ago.
She is very athletic and loves showing off her figure. Her favourite outfit is a white off the shoulder, bodycon, short dress.

16. Jeff

Jeff is an Anambra born banker but currently residing in Jos, Plateau State. The 30-years entertainer believes in taking things one day at a time.
Jeff enjoys swimming and dunking a few on the basketball court while his go to food is a dish of beans, yam, amala, ewedu and gbegiri.

17. Tacha

Tacha is one of the people who became popular before joining the BB Naija show and currently has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram.
She is from Rivers State and lives her life like her favourite musician Cardi B does; “Do no harm but take no mess”.

18. Mercy

Mercy Eke is a 26-year-old Lagos based businesswoman and video vixen who enjoys cooking, swimming, travelling and dancing.
She always picks herself up and does her best. “I’m grateful for each and every day. Being alive today is already the highest point of my life”.

19. Diane

Diane is a 23-years old Kaduna born model and graduate of University of Debrecen, Hungary. According to hr, studying and living in Hungary was an eye-opening experience she’ll forever be grateful for.
Her favourite outfit is a shirt, trousers and sneakers and she enjoys cooking among other hobbies.

20. Gedoni

Gedoni is 31-year-old Cross River born fashion entrepreneur. He enjoys basketball, soccer, taking walks and cleaning the house.
He says that he'll sort out family debts, put up a proper fashion house and exhibit random acts of kindness if h wins the fashion money.

21. Mike

Mike Edwards is a husband, entrepreneur and athlete from Lagos State. He owns the first Black-owned cigar line in the United Kingdom and he’s also a professional athlete.
He says that the lowest point in his life was when he was banned from representing Nigeria at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
