5 Things You Need To Know About Mohammed Umar, The New Acting EFCC Chairman

On Tuesday, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was suspended.
The suspension, which has been confirmed by top officials at the presidency was carried out by the Buhari administration after Magu was accused of corruption, insubordination and abuse of office by Attorney-General Abubakar Malami.
Stemming from Mr Malami's allegations, Mr Magu was arrested on Monday morning by a police team outside his office in Abuja and driven to the Presidential Villa where he appeared before a panel investigating the charges levelled against him.
