In this article, we'd be exploring some very amazing things you need to know about the just released/modified MTN night plan. Before we begin, if you're a good internet user, you must be very conversant with the MTN, Glo, 9mobile and Airtel midnight plans which allow you to browse at extremely cheap rates. Over the years, the various network providers have modified their midnight plans. For example, Airtel switched from offering the regular 500MB for ₦25 to 250MB for ₦25, with users being allowed to subscribe twice in a night. While this is not really poor in the real sense, it is not a welcome development, owing to the fact that subscribers were previously getting double of the plan at the same rate.
We're however bringing a piece of good news to all Nigerian internet users. You can now get a whopping 2GB for ₦200 in the just-released MTN night data plan.
What can you do with 2GB?
Should I even be asking you this? With 2 gigabytes of data, you can download files, stream videos/audios online, scroll through your social media handles, and even do your regular online jobs.
How to activate the MTN 2GB for ₦200
The good news is that you won't be needing any special apps or devices, and the data can be used on any device, whether Android, Windows, iOS, Symbian or even Java. It is also not SIM selective and can be done even on a 1-day old SIM.
To activate it, simply follow the steps below:
• Buy an MTN SIM if you don't have one, and register it. Remember, there is a free ₦5000 waiting for you if you re-register your SIM. See how to do that for free here.
• Dial *406# and select the 3rd option
• Choose any option of your choice and subscribe to it.
• Dial *131*4# to check your data balance.
Another thing worth knowing is that the plan duration has been increased from 11PM to 6AM. What this means is that you'll be able to use the data from 11PM to 6AM, against the previous option of 12AM to 5AM.
In addition, you can use a total of 2GB data on the nightlife plan. Eg. you can only subscribe to 500MB plan four times, which is a total of 2GB for ₦200, while you can subscribe to the 250MB eight times which will also give a total of 2GB for ₦200 as well.
