But monitoring the live coverage of the rite at the Gudu Cemetery today on TVC, one would observe that neither social distancing was observed as the population was well over 20.

Social media users also compared the situation with that of popular Nigeria actress, Funke Akindele who was punished for hosting a birthday party for her husband.

• Actual location of death

Taking a look at the media, one would discover that the actual location of Khari's death wasn't stated. Unlike other some other prominent COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria, where Kyari underwent treatment remained shrouded in secrecy.
We're still waiting, maybe more information regarding his death will be relayed in days to come.

• Abba Kyari’s real age

Another source of controversy is the age of the former Chief of Staff. Checking on Wikipedia now, you'll discover that he was born on the 23rd of September, 1952 (68 years), but the post was actually edited after the President's statement on his death.
Wikipedia earlier stated that he died at the age of 82, maybe we'll have to assume that the original author didn't have enough information prior to his writing the article.

• THISDAY live headline on his death

Many international and local media have published the news of Khari's death, but the way THISDAY presented it got Nigerians talking.
Quoting the tweet:
